Appart from that, give your animation the time it deserves, you don't have to make an animation in a hour, or a day. Try giving it a month, and work like 15 minutes a day on it. try thinking about a story you wan't to tell, or a realy funy joke. Ofcourse, random stuff will so just fine, but if you look at the toppers out there, you'l alway's find dome story or plot.
